Sarah’s Silks Blueberry Parachute

The parachute is a lightweight silk toy in our Blueberry blend. You toss it up into the air and the silk catches the air and glides gracefully back down. A small wooden heart is attached as a weighted accent, giving it a lovely, floating descent every time.

The wooden heart adds a gentle weight at one point of the parachute. That little bit of ballast helps the silk open and drift down smoothly rather than crumpling, and it gives children something to aim, catch, and hold when they gather the toy back up.

The Blueberry blend is a vivid, berry toned colourway that gives the parachute a bright, cheerful look as it sails through the air. As with all our blended silks, the shades shift softly across the fabric, so each parachute has its own slightly unique tone.

Hand wash it gently in warm water with a mild soap and hang it to dry away from direct heat. Keep the wooden heart out of long soaks. Careful handling protects both the timber accent and the hand finished colour so it keeps floating beautifully.
