Londji Bam! Transports

It is a set of 16 wooden stamps that print vehicles such as cars, planes, rockets and trains. A notebook is included, so children can stamp their own busy roads, skies and railways across the pages however far their imagination travels.

They sit near our wooden toys for toddlers, yet the set is listed for ages five to 105. The stamping activity and small parts fit older children and adults best, so younger toddlers would need an adult close by while playing.

There are 16 wooden stamps, each showing a different mode of transport designed by Can Seixanta. With the included notebook, children can line up trains, launch rockets or fill a page with traffic in any order they choose.

Each stamp combines a wooden body with a rubber printing surface, so it grips well and leaves a crisp mark. The wood feels sturdy and warm, and the set weighs around 0.4 kg, light enough to carry to a table anywhere.

Every stamp measures about 1.9 by 1.9 cm, sized for young hands to hold and press. The sturdy cardboard box is roughly 19 by 19 by 2.8 cm and keeps the stamps and notebook neatly together for storage between play.

Inking and placing the vehicle stamps develops fine motor control, planning and creativity, as children decide which transport goes where. Building scenes on the notebook pages also nurtures storytelling and pride in their own artwork.

Clean the rubber faces after stamping and keep the wooden handles dry instead of soaking them. Return the 16 stamps and the notebook to their box after play so the set stays complete and ready for the next journey.
