Sarah's Silks Around The Year On The Farm Playsilk - Large

The large size measures forty four inches square and is made from heavyweight, one hundred percent pure mulberry silk. It is the biggest of the three farm sizes, giving plenty of surface for wall display or larger building play.

The generous size is made for hanging on classroom and playroom walls and for bigger building games. Children can drape it over furniture to make a large fort or barn, and its heavyweight silk holds up well to active handling.

It carries the same around the year design, moving through spring flowers and seed planting, summer bees and chickens, an autumn harvest, and a cosy snowy winter. At this larger scale the seasonal scenes stand out clearly on a wall.

The farm design is a limited edition collaboration between Sarah's Silks and illustrator Stephanie Green of Wilded Family. Because it is a limited run, once the large size sells out the artwork may not be reprinted, making it a special piece.

The design comes in three sizes. Mini suits small world play, the standard Playsilk builds a farm over tables and chairs, and this Large is best for wall hanging and bigger construction. Families often mix sizes to layer their play.

It is sewn from heavyweight pure mulberry silk, the same quality across the farm range. The denser weave gives it enough body to hang well on a wall and to stand up to repeated draping, tying, and building.
