An interlocking frame makes assembly quick and secure, while the large side screw knobs allow the handle bar to be tightened firmly into place. The standing platform includes a locking slot to help keep it secure throughout everyday activities.

Every detail has been carefully considered with safety in mind. Rounded corners help soften accidental bumps, while four removable side stabilisers with rear support add extra stability. Finished with a non-toxic, BPA-free, and lead-free water-base paint, the MILA meets Australian & New Zealand safety standards for added peace of mind.

Is the MILA Deluxe safe for use in small apartments where it needs to be folded frequently?

Yes. The MILA Deluxe features a thoughtfully engineered, space-saving folding design that allows it to fold down to a slim 210 mm depth, while still maintaining excellent structural stability.

Unlike many lightweight folding stools that compromise safety for portability, the MILA uses secure screw knobs to keep the frame firmly locked and stable during use.

To fold the Learning Tower, simply lift the standing board and allow it to hang down, then close the frame. Please ensure the screw knobs are removed before folding and stored safely for the next use.

How does the 100kg weight capacity compare to other folding learning towers?

The MILA platform has been weight-tested to support up to 100 kilograms, far exceeding the 20–30 kilogram limits commonly seen in standard non–solid wood folding designs.

This ensures long-term stability, safety, and reliability as your child grows, making it suitable for everyday kitchen use over many years.

Is there a safety net available for parents who want extra peace of mind?

Yes. We highly recommend pairing the MILA with the Learning Tower Safety Net, particularly for children under 36 months who are still developing their climbing skills. The safety net provides 360-degree coverage, helping keep your child securely supported during busy moments in the kitchen.

 

Does the folding mechanism require any specialized maintenance?

No specialised tools are required, as everything you need is included in the tool bag provided.

We do recommend checking the screws periodically to ensure they remain secure and properly tightened.

For cleaning, please use a lightly damp microfibre cloth only, and keep the unit in a cool, dry place to help preserve the quality of the premium plywood fibres and finish.

Is the varnish used on the MILA model environmentally friendly?

Yes. We use premium water-based varnish on the Natural MILA and water-based paints across our coloured range.

All finishes are 100% non-toxic, lead-free, and BPA-free, and meet high FSC environmental standards. This ensures a scent-free, healthier indoor environment for your child.

Does this folding model include safety stabilizers to prevent tipping?

Yes. The MILA Deluxe is fitted with four removable side stabilisers and a rear support bar, specifically designed to counteract lateral movement.
