Is an EPP balance board better than a wooden one?

They both have their perks, but the EPP board is the "apartment-friendly" version. It’s virtually silent on the floor and much lighter (only 220g!). Plus, it doesn't have the risk of splinters or heavy impacts on little toes.

Will my 100kg husband break this if he stands on it?

He should be right! These boards are rated for 100kg+, so as long as he’s using it for gentle balancing and not doing triple-backflips, it’ll hold up. It’s great for a bit of core work while watching the footy.

Is the Teal color as bright as it looks online?

It’s a really rich, deep blue-green. Because of the way the EPP beads are fused, the color has a nice depth to it. It’s one of our most popular colors for a Scandi-style playroom.

My kid likes to "surf" on the board. Is it slippery?

The board features a coarse textured surface on the top and bottom specifically to stop the kids from slipping off. We always recommend playing in bare feet—it’s safer and better for their balance development.

What happens if it gets a bit of a scuff?

EPP is pretty hardy, but it can get a few minor marks if used on gravel or concrete. It doesn't hurt the performance at all. If it’s just indoor scuffs, they usually rub right off with a bit of elbow grease.

Can I pair this with the Funova Stepping Stones?

That's the way to do it! You can place the board on top of two stones to make a bridge, or use one stone as a fulcrum for a makeshift seesaw. They’re designed to be the ultimate active-play ecosystem.

How do I get free shipping on this?

Standard shipping is free for all orders over $99 (excluding bulky items). Since this board is under the threshold, we reckon adding a set of Cool or Warm stones is a smart move to save on the postage.
