The Freckled Frog Create N Play Matching Pairs

It is a set of 20 wooden discs with a blackboard surface, so you can chalk your own images, letters or numbers onto them. Each disc is 5cm in diameter. Because you decide what goes on them, the discs can become a matching game, a literacy activity or whatever a lesson or play session needs.

With blank, reusable surfaces, the discs act as open-ended loose parts that children arrange, sort, count and combine in their own way. There is no fixed picture or single correct use, so the same 20 discs support many different games and stories. This makes them a flexible resource for changing interests and activities.

Adults or children can chalk letters, numbers, shapes or pictures onto the discs, then wipe them clean and start again.
