What's included in the 106 Piece Connetix Pastel Ball Run Pack?

It has 48 pastel connector squares, 8 pastel wooden balls, and the full run set: 2 Y split tubes, 2 long stairs, 2 S-bend tubes, 8 U-shaped bends, 8 slide tubes, 12 right-angle bends, 6 long and 8 short straight tubes, and 2 bowls.

How is this different from the expansion Ball Run Pack?

This set brings its own 48 connector squares, so it stands closer to a complete run on its own, while the 92 piece expansion carries only run pieces to add to tiles you already own. Both share the same clear fluted tubes and racing pieces.

Does it still need standard tiles?

The 48 connector squares build the base and walls of a run, but the pack holds no triangles, windows or doors. Adding a Creative or Starter pack lets children roof their runs and build towers for the balls to drop into.

Is it compatible with rainbow Connetix and Magna-Tiles?

Yes. The pastel connector squares click onto rainbow Connetix and other sets, so a pastel run joins a rainbow city with no trouble. They also connect with Magna-Tiles, with slight differences in size and colour between brands.

What does a ball run teach?

Building and rebuilding a run is hands-on physics: children test gravity, speed and cause and effect as they change the slope and add bends. Families also use the tubes for sensory play, sorting and mazes beyond racing balls.

What age and safety notes apply?

Suitable for ages 3 and up. Tiles are non-toxic ABS that is BPA, lead and phthalate free, with magnets ultrasonically welded and riveted inside. It contains strong magnets and small parts; seek medical help immediately if a magnet is swallowed.

When will it ship?

Can I use light-up LED balls with this pastel run?

Yes. This pack comes with eight solid wooden balls, but Toypark Rainbow LED Balls are sold separately and fit the same tubes. Dropping a glowing ball into the run adds a light show that shows best in a dimmed room.
