Grimm’s Pebbles Flamingo

The Flamingo set contains four smooth wooden pieces shaped like organic pebbles. According to Grimm's, the set is coloured in shades of flamingo and was added to the wooden pebble family in 2019 to bring a fresh splash of colour to Grimm's constructions. Each pebble is about 2.5 cm high with lengths from 6 to 12 cm.

The pebbles suit imaginative floor play. Children stack and balance the rounded shapes, finding the right point of balance, and use them to enrich small worlds. A pebble can line a river made from a silk scarf, form a cave, lay out a stony landscape or be stacked into a cairn.

The Flamingo pebbles are made from lime wood and finished with a non-toxic water based colour stain, so the wood grain remains visible through the colour.
