Londji Cooperative Game Save the Cat

It is a cooperative game where players team up as firemen to put out a fire and rescue a kitten trapped on a roof. Illustrated by Can Seixanta, it turns a rescue story into a shared challenge that everyone tackles together.

As one of our cooperative games for kids, Save the Cat has everyone win or lose as a group rather than compete. Players discuss the best strategy, agree on a plan and manage the rising tension of the fire side by side.

The game is built for two to six players, so a small group or a birthday table of children can all join. Working together, up to six kids share the job of reaching the kitten before the fire spreads too far.

It is aimed at children from four to eight years old. It contains small parts, so keep it from children under three, and the number-based play grows more rewarding as early counting skills strengthen through repeated games.

A round lasts about 15 minutes, short enough to hold young attention and easy to replay right away. That length also fits neatly into a rainy afternoon or a wind-down before dinner without ever dragging on.

The game builds understanding of numbers and their value, and it sparks debate as players agree on a shared strategy. Children practise teamwork, patience and managing tension, all while cheering the firemen toward the trapped kitten.

It is made from recycled cardboard and paper and packed in a sturdy cardboard box. Keep the pieces dry and stored flat after play so the cards and board stay in good shape for many rescues to come.
