The blocks are made for stacking and building while exploring light and colour. Children raise walls and towers, then hold pieces up to the light to see the gems glow. Because the set is open-ended, the same 12 blocks lead to different builds each time.

The set has 12 beechwood blocks presented in a wooden storage tray, made of beechwood and plywood. Each block measures 5 x 5 x 2.5cm. The tray keeps the set organised and makes packing away part of the play.

Each block is beechwood, fitted with a colourful gem insert on the front and a solid wooden back. This combination gives the sparkle of the gem with the warmth and weight of a natural timber block.

The colourful gem inserts catch and pass light, so a build shifts in tone depending on where it sits. Placed near a window or lamp, the gems cast pools of colour, which invites children to experiment with how light moves through the set.

Wipe the blocks, gem faces and tray with a dry or barely damp cloth and let them dry. Keep the beechwood and plywood away from water and damp storage so the timber and inserts stay sound.
