      Why are there only 30 pieces in this set compared to 40 in the Pastel one?

      The Rainbow range is based on the traditional 6-color spectrum (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple). Because there are fewer colors, you need fewer pieces to get an even distribution. It’s still the same high quality, just a more "classic" primary color feel.

      Are hexagons included in this pack?

      Yes, you get 6 large hexagons in this set. These are essential for building "Dodecahedrons" or stable bases for round structures like towers or lighthouses. They are one of the most versatile shapes in the Connetix range.

      How do I teach my child about fractions using these tiles?

      It’s so easy! You can show them how two right-angle triangles make a square, or how three equilateral triangles make a trapezoid. It’s "hands-on" math that actually makes sense to a preschooler. Much better than a boring worksheet!

      Can I use these tiles in the bath?

      We wouldn't recommend it. While they’re sealed, the metal rivets and magnets don't love being submerged in water for long periods—it can lead to rust or water getting trapped inside. For water play, sticking them to the outside of a glass shower screen is a much safer bet!

      Is this set compatible with Kmart Anko tiles?

      They are roughly the same size and will stick together, but you’ll notice a big difference in the magnet strength. If you mix them, we recommend using the Connetix tiles for your main "support" pillars and the cheaper ones for non-structural bits like floors or roofs.
