Do these LED balls fit in our Connetix Ball Run?

You bet! They are designed with a 33mm diameter specifically to be compatible with the Connetix range and other major magnetic ball runs. They roll perfectly through the fluted tubes and add a whole new level of "wow" to your night-time builds.

How do you turn them on? Do I need a remote?

No remote needed, mate. They come with a little transparent insulation tab—just pull that out and they’re ready to go. They are "motion activated," so they turn off automatically after a bit of inactivity to save the battery. To wake them up, just give them a gentle tap or start them rolling!

Are the batteries replaceable, or are they "one and done"?

They use standard button cell batteries which are included. While they are replaceable, we’ve found it’s a bit of a fiddly job and you’ll need a tiny screwdriver. Always make sure the battery compartment is locked tight because button batteries are a massive safety hazard if swallowed. Supervised play is key!

Can these balls be used in a bath?

No way! They contain electronics and batteries, so they are definitely not waterproof. Keep them for the indoor ball run or for sensory play in a dry Trofast bin. If they get a bit of a splash, wipe them dry immediately.

My child loves throwing balls, will these break?

They are built to be sturdy enough for racing through tubes, but they aren't "indestructible." If they get slammed against a brick wall or tiled floor repeatedly, they might crack or the lights might stop working. We recommend them for kids 3+ who understand how to use them in the ball run.

Do the lights change color, or is each ball a single color?

Each pack of 4 includes one Red, one Yellow, one Blue, and one Green ball. Each ball glows in its own specific color, creating a really cool "rainbow" effect as they chase each other down the track.
