The set holds 120 wooden planks across seven shades: 46 natural, 45 light blue, 26 dark blue, 12 white, 6 yellow, 3 orange, and 2 black. They sit in a wooden case with two compartments and a sliding lid. A colour-coded assembly guide is printed on the back of that lid to walk you through the owl.

Each step on the lid matches planks by colour, so a builder places the right shade in the right spot to shape the owl. Following the colours takes the guesswork out of a fairly detailed model and teaches sequencing. Once the owl is done, the guide has shown techniques you can carry into your own builds.
