Grimm’s Building Set Wave

Wave is an organically inspired building set with flowing, wave-like forms. The soft curves are combined with sharp edges, which makes for varied and unusual building. It is part of Grimm's Tiny Art Collection, a range that plays with strong colour contrasts and different design shapes.

The set is made from lime and birch woods from sustainable forestry, coloured with water-based, non-toxic and spittle-resistant dyes. The natural hardwoods give the pieces a solid feel, and because they are real wood each set can show slight grain and colour variation between pieces.

The set measures about 26.5 x 26.5 cm and 5 cm high, and weighs around 1.55 kg. The pieces fit together within that square footprint, so they store neatly, and the mix of curved and straight edges gives plenty of shapes to combine while building.
