Grimm’s Sorting Board Pastel

The sorting board is a colourful wooden base with 12 circular slots in soft pastel colours. Children use it for colour sorting, matching, storing and stacking. It makes a home for the 12 Grimm's pastel friends, and also works well with Grimm's balls or rollers during open play.

It is made from alder wood with a non-toxic plant based oil finish. The natural timber and simple pastel colouring keep the piece pleasant to handle, and because the wood is a natural material each board carries its own small grain markings that make it a little different from the next.

Grimm's list this sorting board for children aged 1 year and over. Younger toddlers enjoy dropping the pieces into the slots, while older children use it for colour matching and simple counting games. As with all small parts, keep an eye on very young children while they play.
