Good Morning Post Animal-Reindeer

It is a flat, slot-together paper reindeer from Good Morning that you write a message on and post to someone special. It comes with a colourful envelope, and once it arrives the recipient can assemble it into a standing 3D reindeer to display on a desk or shelf.

The reindeer shape lends itself to seasonal notes, and the write-and-post format makes it an easy way to send a festive greeting. You write your message on the body, mail it in the envelope, and the recipient keeps the assembled reindeer as a small decoration afterwards.

It is a paper craft rather than one of our plastic or wooden sensory toys, so it works differently. You slot the flat parts together by hand to build the reindeer, which gives a light, tactile making moment, and the finished figure carries your written message.

You press the reindeer parts out of the paper sheet, write your message on the white space on the back of the body, then place all the parts into the envelope and post it. The recipient slots the pieces together into a standing reindeer to display.

Each Post Animal comes as an animal paper craft with a matching colourful envelope. The envelope has a pleasant texture, and the parts press out and fit together, so one flat pack gives you both a card to write on and a reindeer figure to build.

The series features eight different animals: pig, duck, zebra, penguin, giraffe, reindeer, kangaroo and koala. Each is sold as its own slot-together paper craft with an envelope, so you can send the reindeer here or collect several animals for different people.

Post Animal is designed and made by Good Morning in Japan under their Life with Design concept. The range has won many awards, including the Red Dot Award, the iF Design Award and the German Design Award, which reflects the care given to each paper animal.
