What is included with the VAH Round Target?

The set contains one round target board measuring 41cm across, cut from poplar wood in hypoallergenic colours. It arrives with a pre-drilled hole so you can hang it on a wall or fence. Arrows come with the VAH crossbow and bow sets, not with the target board itself.

How do the suction arrows stick to the target?

VAH safety arrows carry a suction cup on each tip. When an arrow meets the smooth board it grips and holds, so children can see exactly where every shot lands. The same arrows also stick to other smooth surfaces such as a window or a door.

Does this target complete a bow and arrow toy setup?

Yes. The board pairs with the VAH crossbow or the mini bow to finish a bow and arrow toy set. Hang it at child height and let players aim from a few steps back. The matching launchers sit at /products/vah-crossbow-wiki-3-arrows and /products/vah-bow-arrows-set-mini.

What age is the round target suitable for?

VAH recommends the target and its arrow sets for children aged 3 years and over. It is not suitable for children under 36 months. An adult should show younger players how to aim away from faces and eyes before the first game.

What is the target board made from?

The board is cut from poplar wood and finished in hypoallergenic colours, which keeps it light enough to hang yet sturdy for repeated play. VAH makes the whole range in Germany, and a dry wipe is enough to keep the board clean.

How do you hang the round target?

Thread a hook, nail or cord through the pre-drilled hole at the top of the board. Pick a smooth wall or fence at the child's height, with clear space in front so players can step back and take aim safely.

Can the target be used both indoors and outdoors?

Yes. Because the arrows use suction cups rather than points, the board works on an indoor wall or an outdoor fence. Bring it inside during long damp spells to protect the wood, and wipe it down with a dry cloth after outdoor play.
