Wishbone Bike RE2 3-in-1

The RE2 starts as a three-wheel trike so a child can learn to walk and push along from as early as 12 months. When they are ready, it converts to a two-wheel balance bike, giving three stages of use from one recycled plastic frame.

It is made for children from 12 months up to 6 years. Little ones begin on three wheels as new walkers, then switch to balancing on two wheels later, so the same bike keeps pace across several years of early riding.

You convert it whenever your child is ready, dropping from three wheels to two so they can start balancing. The rotafix frame also lets you raise the seat as your child grows, so the fit and the riding mode both keep up with them.

The frame and wheels are made from post-consumer recycled bottles and carpet, using minimal additives for easy recycling later. It is lighter than a steel bike, lower in carbon emissions and fully repairable, so worn parts can be replaced instead of tossing the whole bike.

Yes. When you are finished with it, the bike can be sent back for reprocessing into more Wishbone bikes, which is why the range aims to cut landfill waste. Its repairable build also means it can be handed to a younger sibling first.

The bike comes with black grips as standard. A seatcover, stickers and coloured grips are sold separately if you want to customise the look, while the three-wheel setup is built into this 3-in-1 model rather than an extra purchase.

A 5 year warranty backs the RE2 3-in-1, and the bike is built to be fully repairable. If a part wears out, you can replace it rather than the whole bike, which keeps it on the road longer and out of landfill.
