    Maileg mice come in different sizes, each carefully designed to fit a unique role in the Maileg universe. From Baby to Big Brother, from Mum & Dad to Maxi, each Maileg mouse has its own character and charm. Because they’re handmade, small variations can occur—making every mouse truly one of a kind.

    One of the joys of Maileg is the ability to mix and match! Clothing and accessories are made to fit specific mouse sizes, such as "Little Brother", "Big Sister", or "Dad Mouse". Product names and descriptions always indicate which mouse size the item is designed for, making it easy to shop for the right fit.

    In the Maileg world, Bunnies are usually seen as the girls, while Rabbits are often the boys—but there are exceptions. Their ears are the easiest way to tell them apart: Maileg Bunnies have soft, downward ears, while Rabbits proudly keep theirs pointing up.

    Since the Rabbit’s ears stand tall, they appear a bit longer in height. The difference is in the ears rather than the body size itself. Just like when measuring a Maileg mouse, sizes are noted from the tip of the ears to the toes (length) and across the arms (width).

    Every Maileg character is handmade, so you can expect small variations in size—adding to their charm and uniqueness.

    When building your own maileg family, the different sizes make it easy to imagine each character’s role. For example, a “My Rabbit” is perfectly suited to play the baby of the family, while Micro Rabbits & Bunnies can represent toddlers or young children. Size 1 Rabbits and Bunnies often work well as the older children or parents.

    Just like with a maileg mouse, proportions and accessories are designed to match within their size groups, so your play scenes feel complete and balanced.

    In general, the Miniature Furniture collection is the best match for the traditional Maileg Doll House and additional rooms, while the Micro and My Ranges are better suited to the Castle Collection. Most pieces in the Miniature range are too large for the castle setting—for instance, the well-loved Fridge won’t fit inside. That said, certain items such as the Fireplace do work nicely.
