    Each Playsilk is 100% pure mulberry Habotai silk, a lightweight 5-momme fabric. The standard size is a 35 x 35-inch square, dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes and safety-tested for children of all ages in the US and EU.

    What can children do with a Playsilk?

    Almost anything — a Playsilk becomes a cape, river, blanket, tent roof, doll sling or waves. Its open-ended nature is the point: the same silk transforms through a child's imagination across countless games, indoors and out.

    What sizes do Playsilks come in?

    Alongside the 35-inch standard, there are Mini Playsilks for little hands and small-world play, and Giant Playsilks for dens, tents and whole-body dress-up. Themed ranges like Earth and Enchanted use special multi-colour dyeing.

    How do I wash a Playsilk?

    Hand-wash in warm water with mild baby shampoo or a little dish soap, then hang to dry and iron on medium to restore the natural shine. Children often enjoy washing them, as wet silk is a lovely sensory experience.
