Every stick is hand-poured in small batches from a mix that is 20% organic beeswax, plus colour and other natural waxes. Filana skips the paraffin and petroleum wax used in factory crayons, so the sticks stay a natural alternative with a smooth, creamy stroke.

They lay down colour smoothly with a creamy finish, so young artists can build layers without pressing hard. The balanced wax and pigment let shades blend softly into one another, which helps with skies, gradients and gentle colour changes across a drawing.
