Count Your Chicken is a cooperative board game by Peaceable Kingdom, meaning everyone plays together rather than against each other. The baby chicks have flown the coop, and all players work as a team to help Mother Hen gather her 40 chicks and bring them back before she reaches the last space on the board.

Players take turns spinning and moving Mother Hen, counting aloud the spaces she travels. For each space, the group collects that many baby chick markers and places them in the coop. If everyone gets all 40 chicks home before Mother Hen finishes her path, the whole group wins together.

Watch out for the fox. If the spinner lands on the fox, one baby chick is removed from the coop and returns to the board. This gentle setback keeps the game exciting and gives players a shared reason to keep counting carefully and help each other bring every chick back.
