Beck Traffic Cone

It is a small marker for pretend and small world play, used to close a lane, mark road works or steer cars around an obstacle. Children place it to redirect traffic and set up their own detours on a wooden road as the game goes on.

It stands 50mm in height and is made from beechwood. The small, low cone is sized to sit beside toy cars without towering over them, so a line of them reads clearly as a closed off stretch that drivers have to steer around.

Cones show where cars cannot go, so children learn to slow down, line up and follow a marked path. Setting them out lets a child plan road works or an accident scene and guide the other players safely through the gap that is left.

They set it down to block a lane or ring a hazard, then weave cars past it as if there are road works ahead. Moving the cone around changes the route each time, so the same road can be replayed with a new detour on every go.

It is recommended for ages 3 and up. It is not suitable for children under 36 months, as small parts are a choking hazard, so keep it for older children playing with cars under an adult's eye who will not put it in their mouths.

Yes. The cone sits naturally beside signs, a traffic light and a boom gate, so a junction or work zone feels complete. Each piece adds a different rule for children to follow as they drive their cars through the scene.

Wipe it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Being beechwood, it should not be soaked or left sitting in water, and it is best stored somewhere dry between play so the wood stays in good shape.
