Maileg Metal Box Sliding Lid Christmas Mice

It measures about 9 cm long, 6 cm wide and just 1.5 cm deep, with a net weight of around 30 grams. That makes it roughly the size of a playing card, slim enough for a stocking or a pocket.

The lid shows Maileg's Christmas mice among fir trees, marked Limited Edition, with a red check pattern around the base. It reads as a festive keepsake that can stay on display well after the decorations come down.

It holds small things such as earrings, a gift card, a folded note, a lost tooth or a few tiny Maileg accessories. The sliding lid closes flat, so nothing falls out when it is carried around.

Yes. Slip in a gift card, some money or a handwritten message and the box itself becomes the wrapping. It is a reusable alternative to paper for small Christmas presents and party favours.

Wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth and dry it straight away. Avoid soaking the box or putting it in the dishwasher, which can damage the printed artwork and the metal.

Maileg makes this sliding lid box in several prints, including everyday mice and floral designs. A few side by side make a neat display on a shelf, and each one can hold something different.
