What makes the Galaxy Pack special?

How do the light balls work?

The two light balls glow as they move, so their path lights up while they race through the tubes and past the glitter tiles. It adds an eye-catching visual that plain wooden balls don't have.

Is it a standalone ball run?

Yes. With connector and standard squares, tubes and balls it builds a full run on its own, and it's fully compatible with other Connetix so you can extend it with more tiles or tubes.

Does it connect with other Connetix and Magna-Tiles?

Yes. Every piece clicks onto other Connetix sets and base plates. The tiles also join Magna-Tiles, with slight differences in size and colour.

What does it teach?

Building and rebuilding a run is hands-on physics: children explore gravity, force and motion, and creative problem-solving, all while tracking the glowing balls.

Is it safe, and what age is it for?

Tiles are non-toxic ABS that is BPA, lead and phthalate free, with magnets ultrasonically welded and riveted inside. The light balls hold small batteries and are a small part, so keep them from children who mouth toys. Ages 3+; it also has strong magnets, so seek help if a magnet is swallowed.
