Grapat Mandala Peak

The set contains 36 wooden mandala peak pieces. The matching count and single shape make it easy for children to build even, repeating patterns, line up rows and create symmetrical mandalas where every piece is the same size and form.

Each peak piece stands about 22 mm tall. The small, consistent size lets children stack and cluster them closely, build compact mandalas and combine them with larger Grapat shapes for contrast in height and scale as their patterns take shape.

The pieces are shaped as small peaks, giving them a pointed, cone like profile that stands upright or nests together. This form works well as trees, mountains, roofs or rays in a mandala, so children can read the same piece in many different ways.

Grapat recommends this set for children over 3 years. Because the peaks are small loose parts, keep them for children who no longer mouth toys, and supervise younger siblings who may want to join in the play.

These are open ended loose parts with no fixed use. Children build mandalas and symmetrical patterns, sort and count, and fold the peaks into small world scenes as trees or hills. The single repeating shape is also useful for early maths work such as grouping and one to one counting.

Store them in a dry place, ideally in a small bag or bowl so none go missing. Wipe with a damp cloth to clean and dry straight away. Do not soak the wood in water or wash it in a dishwasher, as moisture can harm the finish.
