Grimm’s Pastel Rainbow Forest 12 Pieces

It is a set of twelve wooden pieces in soft pastel rainbow colours, shaped as tree tops. You can present a forest for each season, and the same cones also work as roofs and spires when combined with building blocks.

The twelve pieces come in pastel rainbow shades that match the colouring of the large pastel rainbow. This makes the set handy for sorting colours and for coordinating displays with other pastel toned Grimm's pieces.

Children can arrange the cones as a woodland, then reimagine the same pieces as rooftops and spires on top of their block buildings. This dual use encourages flexible thinking and extends open ended construction play in new directions.

The pieces measure roughly 6 to 12cm long, with heights around 7, 9 and 11cm and diameters of about 3 to 4cm. The graded sizes are useful for sorting, ordering and layering scenes as children play.

The forest is made from maple wood and finished with a non toxic water based colour stain. As the pieces are coloured by hand, small tonal differences are normal and part of the handmade character.

It is recommended for children aged 2 years and over. The solid, rounded cones are easy for young children to grasp, and they remain useful for older children building more detailed towns and landscapes.
