Sarah's Silks Camping Seek & Find

It is a play silk printed with a cozy woodland campsite, measuring 54 by 74 cm. Hidden among the trees are forest animals, camping treasures and small surprises waiting to be found. A seek-and-find card comes with it, listing things to spot as children look across the scene.

Children search the printed scene for hidden animals and objects, using the included card as a starting point. Spotting each item leads into storytelling, as they invent what the campers are doing or where an animal is hiding. The same silk can also be draped or wrapped like any other silk once the search is done.

Every Camping Seek and Find comes with the printed silk plus a seek-and-find card filled with items to look for. The card gives children an easy way to begin, pointing them toward the forest animals and camping treasures tucked into the illustration. From there they can keep finding new details on their own.

The silk measures 54 by 74 cm, a rectangular shape rather than a square. That size lays out nicely on a table or floor for searching, while still folding down small to carry along. It sits between the mini and classic sizes in overall footprint.

The camping scene is illustrated by Mhairi Hellbrandt, whose artwork fills the silk with woodland detail. The layered illustration is what makes the seek-and-find work, hiding animals and treasures throughout the campsite. Each printed silk carries the same artwork so the searchable details stay consistent.

Treat it like the other silks. Hand-wash gently in cool water with a mild soap, then reshape and hang it to dry away from direct sun. Avoid wringing and harsh detergents so the printed scene stays crisp. A medium iron can smooth any creases before the next round of searching.
