Frequently Asked Questions

What is in this Connetix ball run and creative bundle?

The bundle combines the 104 Piece Bright Creative Pack with the 47 Piece Ball Run Launcher Pack, 151 pieces in total. The Creative Pack supplies squares, triangles and rectangles for the structure, and the Launcher Pack adds clear tubes, a launcher, a stopper and 2 wooden balls.

How does the launcher work?

The launcher piece sends a wooden ball shooting into the track, so children can watch it race through straights, turns, U pieces and slides. The stopper lets them redirect the path or hold the ball, which turns each build into an experiment with speed and direction.

Why add a Creative Pack to a ball run set?

Ball runs need height and support. The Creative Pack gives plenty of standard squares and triangles to build towers and walls that the tubes can climb and wrap around, so tracks can be taller and longer than with the Launcher Pack on its own.

What can children learn from building ball runs?

Testing angles, heights and pathways is hands-on cause and effect. Children see what happens when a slope is steeper or a turn is tighter, and they practise problem-solving when a ball stops short and the track needs adjusting.

Will these packs connect with other Connetix sets?

Yes. The Launcher Pack is compatible with all Connetix packs, and the Creative Pack uses standard Connetix tiles, so both join existing Connetix collections and can be extended later with more ball run pieces.

What age is the bundle recommended for?

It is recommended for children aged 3 and over because it contains magnets, small parts and wooden balls. Younger children enjoy launching and watching, while older children design their own runs from scratch.
