What comes in the 60 Piece Rainbow Starter Pack?

It has 4 large and 24 small squares, three triangle types (6 equilateral, 8 right-angle and 6 isosceles), plus 6 windows and 6 doors, with an idea booklet. It's a balanced first set of squares and angles for 2D and 3D builds.

Is the Connetix starter pack enough on its own?

Yes. For one child it's a solid first collection that builds houses, castles, rockets, car parks and towers. Many families add a Ball Run or Base Plate pack later, once children want taller and more complex builds.

How is the Starter Pack different from the Creative Pack?

The 60 piece Starter is a smaller first set; the 102 piece Creative Pack adds more squares plus rectangles and fences for bigger group builds. Both share the same shapes, so the Creative Pack is a natural next step.

Does it connect with pastel tiles and Magna-Tiles?

Yes. Rainbow starter tiles click onto pastel Connetix, ball run squares and base plates, so your collection grows as one. They also join Magna-Tiles, with slight differences in size and colour between brands.

What will my child learn?

As children plan and balance builds they meet STEAM ideas such as shape, pattern, symmetry, magnetism and cause and effect, and practise fine motor skills. Rebuilding a design that collapsed also grows patience and problem-solving.

What age is it for, and is it safe?

Suitable for ages 3 and up. Tiles are non-toxic ABS that is BPA, lead and phthalate free, with magnets ultrasonically welded and riveted inside. It contains strong magnets and small parts, so keep it from younger children who mouth toys and seek help if a magnet is swallowed.
