Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in the Funova balance board and stacking stones bundle?

You get one Funova balance board in the speckled Super Confetti finish and one Warm stacking stones set, which is five flower-shaped pods in warm tones of speckled red, pink, yellow and lilac, down to a small cup-sized pod. Together they make a ready-made balance and stepping course.

How do the flower pods stack and store?

The five pods are graduated in size, so they nest inside one another as a single flower stack when play is over. Turned the other way up they become stepping platforms, and children can also pile them into towers to test how high they can build before it wobbles.

What can children do with the board and pods together?

Lay the pods out as a stepping trail and finish on the board for a rocking challenge, or set the board between two pods as a wobbly bridge. Off the course, the curved board can be rolled, rocked or turned into part of a pretend game, so the set keeps finding new uses.

What are the pieces made from?

Every piece is moulded from lightweight EPP foam that is 100 percent recyclable, child-safe and free from harmful additives. Coarse textured surfaces on the board and pods add grip underfoot, and the foam is light enough for toddlers to carry and rearrange on their own.

How much weight can they hold?

The balance board has a maximum load of 100 kg or more and weighs only about 220 g, while each stacking pod supports up to 50 kg. That leaves plenty of margin for energetic hopping and balancing as children grow more confident.

What age is this bundle suitable for?

The bundle suits children from 1 year of age. Toddlers can start by stepping between pods close to the floor and rocking gently on the board, then move on to standing balances, longer trails and taller stacks as their coordination improves.

Is the Funova range tested for safety?

Yes. Funova products are tested for safety and comply with AS/NZS ISO 8124, the Australian and New Zealand safety standard for toys. The pieces are made from child-safe EPP and are suitable for indoor and outdoor active play under adult supervision.
