Maileg Christmas Mouse Baby in Book

The baby mouse comes tucked into a soft little bed that sits inside a storybook-style box printed with Christmas tales. Open the cover and the bed is right there, so the book works as the baby's room and as a ready-made stage for bedtime stories.

The book measures about 11.5 cm long, 7.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm deep, and the whole set weighs around 70 grams. It is small enough to slip into a stocking or sit on a bookshelf among real books.

The main material is a cotton, lyocell and ramie blend, with recycled polyester filling. Maileg notes that fabrics may vary from batch to batch, so each baby mouse can look slightly different from the photos.

The soft toy and textile parts can be machine washed at 30 degrees, and the paper book should only be wiped on the surface. Take the mouse and bedding out of the book before washing and let them air dry fully.

Maileg recommends it for children aged 3 and up. The mouse is small, so for younger siblings it is better kept on a shelf as a Christmas display piece until they are old enough to play with it.

Yes. Closed, it looks like a small illustrated book, so it can stand on a mantel or windowsill through December. Many collectors bring it out each year alongside the rest of their Maileg mice.
