Maileg Christmas Twin Mice in Book

Two. The twin mice are tucked into one shared bed inside a storybook box illustrated with Christmas stories. Having a pair makes it easy to act out conversations, games and bedtime routines between the two siblings.

The soft mattress has a stitched line across the centre, so it folds in half to become a little sofa. In the daytime the twins can sit side by side, and at night it opens flat again as their bed.

The book measures about 16.5 cm long, 11.5 cm wide and 7 cm deep, with a net weight of around 160 grams. It is a little bigger than the single baby version, with room for both mice and their bed.

The mice are made mainly from cotton and filled with recycled polyester and PE pellets. The pellets add a little weight, so the twins sit nicely on the sofa or on a shelf rather than toppling over.

The soft mice and bedding can be machine washed at 30 degrees, then air dried. The paper book itself is surface wash only, so wipe it gently with a barely damp cloth if it gets marked.

It suits children aged 3 and up who like small-world play, and it is a good pick for families with twins or two siblings. Collectors often add it to their Maileg mice as a Christmas piece to bring out each December.
