Frequently Asked Questions

What does this piece of Maileg furniture look like?

It is a wooden kitchen bench in a soft light sand colour with a scalloped back, topped with two cushions in a leaf print. It brings a calm, country kitchen feel to a mouse home.

How big is the bench?

It measures about 13 cm high, 13 cm wide and 5.5 cm deep and weighs around 90 grams. There is room for Maileg mice to sit together at the table.

What is it made of?

The frame is wood. The cushions are made of cotton and linen with a polyester filling, so they are soft for mice to sit on.

How do I clean it?

The soft cushion parts can be machine washed at 30°C. Wipe the wooden bench with a damp cloth and let it dry fully before putting the cushions back.

What age is it recommended for?

Maileg recommends ages 3 and up. It contains small parts, so it is not suitable for children under 3.

Where does it fit in a Maileg house?

Maileg suggests it for the Mouse House or the Farmhouse. It sits against a kitchen wall with a table, but it works just as well in a hallway or by a window as a reading seat.

What can I pair it with?

It looks lovely with Maileg kitchen pieces, such as a waffle set laid out for breakfast on a table in front of it. A rug underneath finishes the scene.
