Papoose Toys Bright Lucite Cubes with tray (16 Piece Set)

The set has 16 Lucite cubes, with two of each of eight colours. Lucite is a clear acrylic, so the cubes are translucent rather than felt or wood. The spare of each colour gives flexibility when building and matching pairs during play.

As open ended toys the cubes stack on their own and also work with wooden accessories like hashtags and roof toppers. They fit the sizing of the Dutch Step Gables Windows, so you can frame the coloured cubes inside the wooden shapes.

Having a pair of every colour means children can build symmetrically, match colours and still have spares for larger constructions. The eight colours give enough variety to sort and pattern with, while the doubles keep both sides of a build balanced.

Yes. Being translucent acrylic, they glow on a light table or a sunny windowsill, and overlapping two cubes blends their colours. In everyday light they still work as bright building blocks for towers, walls and colour sorting games.

Wipe each cube with a soft, damp cloth and dry it promptly so the surface stays clear. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers, which can scratch acrylic and dull the colour. Careful cleaning keeps the light shining through cleanly.

They mix with other translucent Papoose pieces such as the Bitcoin Window Earth and with the Phatt Lucite Cubes. Combining sets grows the colour palette and gives more shapes for open building and light play.

Stacking and balancing the cubes supports fine motor control and early engineering ideas, while sorting the eight colours and their pairs builds colour recognition and matching. Open building with no fixed outcome also leaves room for planning and creativity.
