The set contains 28 natural wooden pieces in a range of sizes, featuring different shaped windows and high doors. The largest piece measures 15cm wide by 24.5cm high. Children can slot the pieces together to build a castle, dollhouse, a zoo or anything else their imagination invents, then pack it all away into a small box.

Slotting and balancing the pieces asks children to grip, position and align each block with care, which strengthens hand muscles and hand-eye coordination. As they plan a structure and adjust pieces that do not sit right, they also build patience, spatial awareness and early problem-solving. The open-ended format means there is no single correct build to copy.

Although the pieces store away in a compact box, a completed construction can reach up to about a metre long in play.
