Grapat 6 Rainbow Platforms

The set contains six wooden platforms, each about 18cm across, in the colours of the rainbow. They act as flat surfaces on which children arrange other pieces, place figures and build small worlds. The platforms can be laid out separately, grouped together or stacked, giving children a base for many kinds of open ended play.

Grapat works mostly with beech and birch sourced locally from sustainable forests in Catalonia, Spain, and uses water-based, non-toxic finishes. Grapat gives an age of 12 months and up for the platforms. The large, flat discs are easy for young toddlers to handle and have no tiny parts of their own. Younger children enjoy stacking and moving them, while older children use them as bases for figures, sorting and small world building. Adult supervision is always sensible.
