This full set gathers Grapat Little Things in all six colours: yellow, red, purple, orange, green and blue. Each is a small, simply shaped wooden piece, and together they form a colourful base for many kinds of open ended play.

Their simple, unstructured form lets children imagine the expression, character and role of each piece. They can be used for small world play, storytelling, counting and sorting, and they support emotional understanding as children give the pieces their own meaning.

They are handcrafted from solid wood by a small family run business in Catalonia, northern Spain, run by owners Casiana and Jordi. The timbers are locally sourced and sustainable, and the pieces are finished with water based dyes and packed in recycled, sustainable materials.

They combine well with Grapat Nins, Wizards, Tomtens, Sticks and Bugs, so you can mix and layer them into larger collections. Building up a range of loose parts gives children more scope to create scenes and stories of their own.

Every piece is handcrafted and hand finished, so small variations in colour and wood grain are normal. These differences are part of the character of Grapat toys and reflect the care and attention that goes into making them by hand.

They are inspired by Waldorf principles and open ended play, encouraging children to use their own imagination. From counting and sorting to role play and storytelling, the pieces can be used freely, which keeps them interesting as children grow and their play changes.
