Sarah's Silks Giant Enchanted Playsilk

It is an oversized silk measuring 178 cm long by 89 cm wide, hand-painted in a blended Enchanted colorway. The generous size lends itself to parachute play, bed canopies, a roof over a play stand, fort building or a puppet-show backdrop. It pairs well with Playclips for building.

This Giant Enchanted silk comes in Blossom, Sea and Fire. Each is hand-painted with several blended tones rather than a single flat color, so Blossom reads floral, Sea reads oceanic and Fire reads warm. Hand-painting means the exact pattern differs across each silk.

The large square scales up open-ended play. Children float it for parachute games, hang it as a canopy over a bed, roof a play stand, build a fort or set it as a backdrop for puppet shows. Being open-ended, one silk stands in for sky, sea or shelter depending on the game.

It is painted by hand on lightweight, 5 momme, 100% pure mulberry silk. The natural fiber is soft, drapes gracefully and is light enough to float during parachute play. Silk also breaks down naturally over time, returning to the soil rather than lingering as waste.

A plain Giant Playsilk is one solid color, while this Giant Enchanted version is hand-painted with several blended tones across the same 178 by 89 cm size. That gives Blossom, Sea and Fire a layered, scenic look. Both share the mulberry silk and suit the same large-scale play.

Hand-wash it with a mild shampoo or dish soap in warm water, then hang it to dry and iron on medium to restore the shine. Shape it by hand while damp so the large square settles smooth. When not in use it folds down small despite its size, so storage is easy.
