Each Giant Playsilk measures 178 cm long by 89 cm wide, roughly double a classic square. The extra size suits parachute play, draping as a canopy over a bed, forming a roof for a play stand, fort building, or hanging as a backdrop for puppet shows. They pair well with Playclips.

The Earth range comes in Desert, Ocean, Forest and Stone, each hand-painted in natural, blended tones. Desert leans into golden burnt orange, Ocean into deep blues and teal, Forest into mossy greens and Stone into greys, silvers and blues. Hand-painting means each silk varies slightly.

Their large size opens up bigger games. Children float them for parachute play, drape them as a bed canopy, roof a play stand, build forts or hang them as a puppet-show backdrop. The open-ended shape means one giant silk can be a sky, a sea or a shelter depending on the story.

Giant Playsilks are painted by hand on lightweight, 5 momme, 100% pure mulberry silk. Silk is a natural fiber that feels soft and drapes well, and it breaks down easily over time and returns to the soil. The lightweight weave helps the large silk float during parachute play.

Hand-wash it with a mild shampoo or dish soap in warm water, then hang it to dry. Ironing on medium restores the silk's shine once dry. Because the silk is large but light, shape it by hand while damp and it will settle back into a smooth square.

Yes. The same designs are offered in the Mini Playsilk and Classic Playsilk sizes if you want a smaller square for younger children or doll play. The Giant size is the largest option, cut for parachute games, canopies and forts where more fabric makes the difference.
