This is a 16-piece set of window blocks shaped after Dutch roof lines, the stepped gables seen on houses in the Netherlands and Amsterdam. Each wooden block holds a coloured gem, and the different heights in the series are made to work together.

How do these wooden building blocks combine with other sets?

These wooden building blocks are sized around 10cm by 2.5cm so they fit the Papoose Bitcoins and Lucite pieces as well as Bauspiel. You can frame the Bright Lucite Cubes or Bitcoin Window Earth inside the gable shapes.

Why do the block heights vary?

The set is based on real Dutch roof lines, which step up and down, so the blocks come in different heights. Even though they vary, the shapes are made to stack and sit together, letting children build rooflines and little house fronts.

Children build house fronts, streetscapes and rooflines, then mix in cubes and gems to add colour and light. Because there is no set outcome, they can also stack the shapes into towers and patterns, combining them with other loose parts freely.
