Grapat Happy Place

The set contains 40 wooden pieces in a mix of regular and organic shapes and cheerful colours. Sizes range from 20mm up to 150mm, giving children plenty of variety to build cities, towns and villages. The mix of shapes and scales keeps the set flexible for stacking, sorting and open building.

Children can build cities, towns and villages, or invent their own scenes from imagination. Because the parts follow no fixed rules, they support open play where the child decides what each piece becomes. The mix of shapes also lends itself to stacking, sorting by colour, counting and creating small worlds alongside figures.

Grapat recommends this set for children aged 3 years and over. The pieces include small parts, so it suits preschoolers and older children who no longer mouth their toys. Younger builders can still join in with close adult supervision during shared play at a table or on the floor.

The pieces are made from sustainably sourced wood and coloured with water based, non toxic dyes in the colours of the rainbow. Each piece is finished with wax and vegetable derived oils, giving a smooth surface and a natural feel. The packaging is completely plastic free.

Store the pieces in a dry place away from damp. To clean, wipe them with a damp cloth and dry immediately. The pieces should not be submerged in water, and they should not be disinfected, as moisture and harsh cleaners can damage the wood and its finish over time.
